About Leaders in Service
Every year the school organises school-based Community Involvement Programme (CIP) for our students. CIP provides students with opportunities to develop values and character to become responsible citizens. CIP also nurtures a spirit of volunteerism and raises awareness about people, our environment and certain issues that need our help and concern. No contribution is considered too small to farther our cause to create a caring society and to make the world a better place.
Besides school-based CIP, students are encouraged to initiate their own CIP based activities so as to build a greater sense of ownership. A list of CIP opportunities is placed in this micro site for students to participate in. This list will be updated on the first day of every month.
Students will definitely gain invaluable and fulfilling experiences through serving others. On top of this, students will be awarded CIP hours for the time committed in helping the organisation.
How To Apply
- Choose an organisation from the list provided. Take note of the schedule.
- Registration will be closed 2 weeks from the scheduled date per CIP opportunity.
- Your participation in the chosen activity is confirmed only when you are issued the Parent Notification Form by the respective teachers-in-charge.
- Fill up the online form.
- Print and fill up the ‘Verification of CIP Hours Rendered’ form.
- Upon completion of the CIP with the organisation, obtain the endorsement of the person-in-charge for verification of the number of CIP hours served.
