Arts & Innovation Club - Achievements

The Art and Innovation club is a new CCA which was formed in 2006. It started out with only 6 members, but has increased to 25 in 2007. In order to inculcate an appreciation of the arts to the NASian , the club provided a wide range of programmes for the members, including Chinese painting, mask painting, clay making, stained glass painting, crepe paper flowers making etc.

The members also participated in many intra-school activities and inter-school art exhibitions and competitions, such as the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibitions organized by the Chung Cheng High(Main). The ‘East Zone Centre of Excellence-In House Art Exhibition’ organized by Siglap Secondary School.  Our ‘Army Our People’ Toy Making Competition organised by SAFTI, and ‘Lion City, My Home’ Ceramic Painting Competitions. The members helped in the Lunar New Year decorations, and their art works also helped beautify the school’s Art Atrium.
