Congratulations to our Alumni |
The school would like to congratulate our alumni, Nurul Hidayat B Anuar and Jovie Teo Jia Ling, both of 4I1 2009, for obtaining the Outstanding Graduate Award for their Nitec courses. Nurul Hidayat's Nitec course was in Digital Audio and Video Production, and Jovie's course was in Applied Food Science.
This award is given to the top 1% of the students cohort who have performed exceptionally well in their course of study as well as in their co-curricular activities.

President Scout Award |
This year, for first time in Ngee Ann’s history, our Venture Scout, Chandan Partab Mansukhani was awarded the President Scout Award.
The President Scout Award is presented to Singapore’s most all-rounded Venture Scouts in recognition of their excellence leadership and personal performance, their dedication to the Scout movements and their service to community. As Chandan is currently undergoing his Officer Cadet Course in Brunei, his father has received the award on his behalf.

Scouts 7th National Patrol Camp (Competition) |
Our Ngee Ann Wichita Scouts have done us proud by clinching the Silver Merit in the recent competition conducted by The Singapore Scout Association.

A group of students from 3R2 participated in the YEA Innovation FIESTA 2011 on 16 Nov 2011.
They clinched the Silver Award with their ideas "Clip-It-Brella" and "Thermostir".

National Malay Language Essay Writing Competition 2011 |
Congratulations to our students for their outstanding achievements in the National Malay Language Essay Writing Competition held on 12 November 2011 at The Serangoon Community Club.
Nur Farhanah Binte Zainal (1R4) received the Silver Award while Nabillah Hamidah Binte Mohammad Nizam (1R6) and Ashley Chan Sook May (1R5) won the Gold Award.

Destination Zero Carbon Inter-School Competition 2011 |
The Design & Technology Department in collaboration with the Green Movement Committee facilitated two winning entries in the Destination Zero Carbon Inter-School Competition 2011 held on 1-3 November. The competition was held at Suntec ConventionCentre in conjunction with the Singapore International Energy Week and Clean Energy Expo Asia.
Team NAS Eagles comprising Lim Wei Liang (2R5) and Jared Ng (2R7) was awarded the Fastest Car Award (2nd Runner-up).
Team Zero Moolah comprising Mohd Farid B. Mohd (2R5) and Ibnur Satria (2R6) was awarded the Green Car Award. Both cars were powered by hydrogen.

NCC Speedball Competition |
Congratulations to Ngee Ann NCC part C cadets, Foo Yong Qi, Marcus Leung, Nicholas Yeo, Malcolm Kee and Ling Zhiyu.
The team came in overall 1st runner-up in the NCC Speedball Competition today. They won the 4 out of 5 rounds in the 2-day challenge.

Digital Media and Entertainment Challenge 2011 |
Ngee Ann students came in 2nd runner up for the Digital Media and Entertainment Challenge 2011 organized by GET and held in Temasek Polytechnic.
The competition was designed to allow student participants to exercise their creative talents to develop a 3D game using the Unity game engine. Well done NASians! |
